Position: Regional Business Director
Location: Eastern Nebraska
Duties and Responsibilities:
VariMax is one of a kind growing Precision Ag company looking for Regional Business Director to join our dedicated, fun, and exciting team. This position is not your ordinary sales position; it is a unique chance to be involved in the growth of the ever-changing precision ag industry. This is a full-time, year-round position. Position will be open May 1st, 2021, start date is negotiable•
- Develop and support VariMax network of Partners in Eastern Nebraska.
- Support sales of Varimax services and products in designated region.
- Develop and assist in growing VariMax network of Advisors.
- Educate, and train customers on functionalities proper use of the VariMax software suite.
- Assist customers with account setup, enrolling fields, and all required information into Varimax System.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Provide weekly regional partner updates to management team.
- Collaborate with staff and customers to establish goals and objectives for system improvements and future developments.
- Create lead list and reach out to customer leads through cold calling
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets
Desired Qualifications:
• College degree or extensive experience in Agronomy or Ag related field.
• Excellent interpersonal skills & the ability to deal with people tactfully & effectively
• Ability to inspire and support staff
• Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm and professional in all circumstances
• Working knowledge of PC and Mac operating systems and Microsoft Office Applications.
• The employee must be safety oriented, customer driven and a team player. Must have a clean, safe driving record.
Compensation:
- Starting Salary: Based on Experience
